September 11
6-10 pm
ZZ TEX 6:30 pm
Texas Flood 8:30 pm
This month's concert showcases ZZ TEX, a professional road band that features three seasoned musicians who have more than 25 years each in the classic rock and tribute band business, and they've been called “masters” at recreating the legendary look and sound of ZZ Top! With a career that spans 50 years and 50 million albums sold, not to mention induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, that Lil Ole Band from Texas has landed some of the biggest rock anthems of all time – “La Grange,” “Tush,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’” and “Legs.” This tribute show packs a punch that includes signature long beards, fuzzy guitars and cheap sunglasses – Billy, Dusty and Frank would be proud!
Closing out the evening is Texas Flood!!
Tommy Katona and Texas Flood are THE premier blues bands in all of North Texas and bring a raw, in-your-face show that takes the audience on an unforgettable and soulful journey through the blues. Evolving from the original tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Texas Flood pours through their own music and style and pays tribute to legends such as SRV and Jimi Hendrix as well as a nod to the future of the blues.
